1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. ground pecans, must be chopped very finely

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, adding sugar gradually. Mix well. Add flour, pecans, and vanilla. Pinch in small pieces, roll between palms and shape in ball, or crescent form. Bake in slow oven (275-300) for 40 minutes. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Keep in tin can to remain crisp.
