Spice Cake Recipe

1 box spice cake mix
1 can pumpkin (2 c.)
2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/3 c. water
Penuche Frosting:
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Mix cake mix, soda, eggs and water together and beat 4 minutes. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes but check after 35 minutes.

Mix ingredients together in heavy sauce pan until spreading consistency and spread over cooled cake.
