1 yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 1/2 cups white corn syrup
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
2/3 cup batter
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups pecans,chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cake mix, butter and egg. Mix well. Reserve 2/3 cup batter and put the rest into a 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes or until brown in a 325 oven. Then mix the remaining ingredients including the 2/3 cup batter. Pour into the baked crust and cook for 1 hour at 325.
