Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 C. uncooked rice
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 lb. hamburger ( ground turkey)
1 C. raisins (or craisins)
1/2 to 3/4 C. slivered almonds
Curry powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice and oil with 4 cups of water (I use a rice cooker so I don't have to think about it). In a pan brown the meat. When beef is halfway cooked through add the raisins and slivered almonds. (The raisins should get a little plump from the heat.) When beef is browned all the way through add curry powder to taste. Mix everything together in a bowl and serve.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I usually serve this main dish in the summer with a salad or in the winter with vegetables. The most time consuming portion of this meal, is cooking the rice, but you can use Minute Rice if you are in a crunch for time.
