6-8 medium size baking apples, cored
2 T. raisins
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. butter
1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Remove top inch of peel from each apple.
Mix together raisins and sugar. Spoon into center of apples.
Sprinkle with additional sugar and dot with butter.
Place apples in slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hrs. or on high 2 1/2-3 1/2 hrs.

"Bake" cakes in a cake pan set directly into bottom of your slow cooker. Cover the top with 4-5 layers of paper towels to help absorb the moisture from the top of the cake. Leave the cooker lid open slightly to let extra moisture escape.
