1 Cup butter
3/4 c white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 C flour (all purpose)
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1-2 c chocolate chips (good quality)
1 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:

Beat butter and both sugars until creamy, add eggs & vanilla, add all dry ingredients sir in and do not over mix.
Fold in chocolate chips

Drop onto sheets - Bake at 350
