White onions (approximately 8-10, depending on size)
1 package Swiss cheese
1 package mozzarella cheese
3/4 c. milk
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 t. pepper
1 loaf French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Slice onions and separate into rings. Saute in butter until transparent. Grate 2 packages cheese and mix together. Grease 9 x 13 in. casserole dish. Layer onions, cheese, rotating layers. Heat soup, milk and pepper. Pour soup mixture over onion mixture. With knife, separate layers so liquid will get to bottom. Slice bread and butter one side. Cover top with bread. Bake at 350 until mixture bubbles and bread is toasted.
