2 lb. package frozen hash browns, thawed
1 stick butter

Topping:
1 pint sour cream
1 8-oz. package shredded cheddar cheese
1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
3 T. chopped onion
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together potatoes and butter, Put in 9 x 13 pan. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over potato mixture. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Bake 1 hour at 350.
