1/2 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
3 T. milk
1 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 t. soda
1/4 t. salt
2 c. Quaker 100% Natural Cereal

Directions:
Directions:
Beat shortening, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla together until creamy. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture; blend well. Stir in cereal. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes @ 350.
