1 cooled baked pie crust 1 cup sugar 1 pint strawberries 1 cup water 4 Tbsp dry strawberry Jello 3 Tbsp cornstarch Few drops red food coloring Cool Whip
Combine sugar with cornstarch then add water. Cook until clear and remove from heat. Cool. Add the food coloring and Jello. Stir in well. Line shell with fresh berries (sliced) and fill shell with cooked mixture. Place in refrigerator and chill. Top with Cool Whip or whipped cream.
