1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
2 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup flour
3 Tbsp butter
2 egg yolks
1 baked pie shell

2 Tbsp cornstarch in 4 Tbsp cold water
1 cup hot water
2 tsp lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
4 egg whites

Combine ingredients. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Place in baked shell and top with meringue.

Mix cornstarch in cold water. Stir in boiling water. Cook two minutes, stirring, until thick. Cool. Add lemon juice to egg whites. Beat to soft peaks. Add sugar one tablespoon at the time. Beat until firm and glossy. Add cornstarch and beat. Brown in oven after placing on filling.
