4 cups fresh or frozen fruit
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon
1 1/2 cups baking mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
3 Tbls melted butter/shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Combine sugar, cinnamon and fruit. Pour into dish. Mix remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfuls over fruit. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown.

Note: If I use frozen berries, I mix in 2-3 Tbls of flour into the fruit mixture to help thicken slightly.
