3 cups flour
3 tsp Baking powder
2 sticks butter
2 cups sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 tsp almond or lemon extract
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in the extracts. Add milk and dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder), alternately, until blended. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.

This pound cake recipe was my motherís. She was a wonderful baker and died of lymphoma in 1981. I hope many people will enjoy it.
