"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Den's famous BBQ Ribs, by Dennis Drake, is from Grandma's Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
2 racks of babyback pork ribs Dens BBQ rub (see miscellaneous for recipe) Barbecue sauce of choice
Start day before BBQ. Make rub per recipe in miscellaneous section. Cover babyback ribs with rub and place in refrigerator over night. Next day remove ribs and scrap off rub. Place in smoker at 185-200 for 2 hours, just long enough to start cooking, do not over cook. Remove from smoker and place on BBQ, brush with barbecue sauce of choice and cook until done.
