1 1/2 cups sugar
1 (3 oz) box lime jello
2 cups all-purpose flour
5 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract

1/2 cup lime juice
1/3 cup confectioner's sugar

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 stick margarine, softened
4 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Blend all ingredients at low speed. Pour into three 9-inch pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. When layers are done, turn out on rack and punch holes in top with toothpick. Drizzle a mixture of lime juice and confectioners sugar over top of warm layers. Let cool. Mix frosting ingredients and spread over cake once cooled (cake will be moist and delicious).
