1/4 lb. butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 can pineapple (drained)
1 yellow cake mix

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 9 X 13 baking dish as oven preheats. Remove dish from oven and spread brown sugar over butter and the drained pineapple. Mix cake as directed on the box. Pour batter over pineapple in the baking dish and bake 325 - 350 for 30- 35 minutes. Test the center of the cake with a toothpick. Remove cake from oven and let it set for 5 minutes and then place a tray on top of the cake and then flip it over, remove the baking dish and the pineapple should be on top and not all over the floor.

A word of caution the syrup created from the juice, sugar and butter will be very hot. I like this cake best when it is still warm from the oven.
