1 c. molasses
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat molasses to boiling point. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and baking soda. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, ginger and cinnamon. Add to molasses mixture. Chill dough and roll out as thin as possible. Cut into desired shapes and place on lightly greased cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 5-7 minutes at 350.
