"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Melt butter in Dutch oven, add cubed beef. Brown on all sides and season with salt (optional) and a dash pepper. Add onion and green pepper, simmer until translucent. Add remaining ingredients, simmer for about 1 1/2 hours - until meat is tender. If necessary add flour to thicken.

Personal Notes:
Lately, I have omitted the heavy cream and added only the sour cream. Sour cream doesn't seem to blend well in a hot pan so add it before the pan is too hot.
