1/2 lb. butter
2 lbs. lean beef
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 onion , chopped
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 C. mushrooms, canned, drained
2 T Cooking sherry
1 C. Heavy cream
1 pint Sour cream
2 T. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in Dutch oven, add cubed beef. Brown on all sides and season with salt (optional) and a dash pepper. Add onion and green pepper,simmer until translucent. Add remaining ingredients, simmer for about 1 1/2 hours - until meat is tender. If necessary add flour to thicken.

Lately, I have omitted the heavy cream and added only the sour cream. Sour cream doesn't seem to blend well in a hot pan so add it before the pan is too hot.
