2 lg. cans of tomatoes
2 lg. cans of puree
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
4 bay leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 TBL. sugar
1/2 onion
1 TBL. garlic minced

2 Ib. hamburger or sausage
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

In a large pot or crockpot, combine all elements of sauce, except onion and garlic. Cook 8 hrs., ideally let sit overnight.
For meatballs, combine all ingredients and mix well. Form into meatballs and bake at 325' until done on the inside (about 10-12minutes).
With hamburger grease, chop-up onion in small pieces and add 1 TBL minced garlic. Brown onions and garlic in hamburger grease. Add to sauce
