Electric Frypan / oil
Rice cooker & rice OR Rissoni
1 large onion (can use more if you like)
1 kilo of sliced beef or veal (I used 500 grams of rump sliced)
1-2 teaspoons garlic
3 Large flat mushrooms (can use more if u like)
1 packet of brown onion gravy (I used French onion soup mix)
salt & pepper (add as you go to taste)
1 small carton lite sour cream

Put on rice!
Cut onions small
Cut mushrooms in strips
Heat oil in electric fry pan (just a touch to cook the onions etc)
Add onions & garlic. Cook on LOW to soften onion no need to brown them.
Add strips of meat and stir into onions and garlic
Make sure meat is browning not cooking
When meat is browned, add mushrooms, salt & pepper
Add cup water, put lid on (leave to lightly simmer for approx 15 mins)
When meat is browned, put onion gravy mix in a cup of water & stir it, then tip into meat mixture in fry pan
Simmer with lid off now for 1-2 mins to make hot.
Try the meat if tender, add 1 carton sour cream, stir through & simmer for another 1-2 mins.

SERVE ON RICE or RISSONI
