8 oz.elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in flour, salt and pepper. Gradually stir in milk; return to heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer for one minute until sauce thickens. Remove from heat.

Stir in 1-1/2 cups cheese and prepared macaroni.
Pour mixture into a lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until cheese is golden.

This recipe doubles easily for pot-lucks or tailgating!
