1 Tbsp. cornstarch
6 Tbsp.sugar
1/2 cup water
3 egg whites
salt (few grains)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cornstarch, sugar, water and salt. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Set off the burner. Beat egg whites until frothy. Continue beating, while slowly pouring into egg white mixture. Beat 5 minutes. Cover filling in pie shell with meringue sealing edges to crust. Bake in 450 oven for five or seven minutes.
