8 chicken breasts; boneless, skinless, cut in half
4 large onions, sliced thinly
4 T. butter
1/2 lb. Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded
2 tsp. sweet Hungarian paprika
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs.
1 c. dry white wine
1- 1/2 c. chicken stock
8 T. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 325.

Grease casserole dish, large enough to hold chicken in single layer. Cook onions in 4 T. butter until soft and translucent. Spread 1/2 onions in even layer on bottom of dish. Arrange chicken on top of onions. Salt and pepper evenly. Spread remaining onions over chicken.

Sprinkle the cheeses evenly over onions covering surface completely. Mix paprika with bread crumbs and sprinkle across in the same way. Combine melted butter, white wine and chicken stock. Drizzle evenly over crumbs to moisten.

Bake at 325 for l hour, then reduce temperature to 200 and bake 15-30 minutes until browned. Serve with rice or noodles.

Stove Top Stuffing can be used instead of bread crumbs and paprika. Discard seasoning packet.
