Ingredients:
12 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
1/4 cup of dark corn syrup
8 ounces of cream cheese, softened
1 9-inch crumb crust

Directions:
Directions:
Finely chop the chocolate. Put the chocolate into a heat-proof glass or metal bowl. Mix in the corn syrup and only 1/2 cup of cream. These three ingredients need to get melted together on the stove top over simmering water. Remove the chocolate mixture and let it cool for 5-10 minutes. While the chocolate mixture is cooling, beat the remaining cup of cream with a hand mixer until stiff peaks are formed. Set the whipped cream aside for just a few minutes. Beat in the softened cream cheese. Using a rubber spatula, the whipped cream needs to be folded into the chocolate mixture. Pour the chocolate mixture into the pie crust. Place in the refrigerator to set for 3-4 hours.
