2 - 3 lbs fresh okra,
1 egg, beaten,
cornmeal,
oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Wash okra and drain well. Remove tip and stem end; cut okra into 1/2 inch slices. Sprinkle okra with salt. Coat okra with egg and toss with cornmeal. Heat oil in frying pan. Cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Can also use deep fryer, just watch carefully as a deep fryer cooks faster.
