18 hard boiled eggs
2 lbs. bacon, cooked and crumbled
Sauce:
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. cream
1 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. each of basil, thyme, and marjoram
1 c. finely chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Make a white sauce using above ingredients. Add 1 lb. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and basil, thyme and marjoram; lastly, add finely chopped parsley. Layer in 2 1/2 - 3 qt. casserole beginning with 1/3 sliced eggs, sprinkled with 1/3 of the bacon and 1/3 of the sauce- continue layering
top with mixture of fresh bread crumbs with butter.
bake 350 for 30 mins, if make the night before bake 45 mins.

My mom and I made this for my best friend Carolyn's wedding shower. Everyone raved about this dish, I don't know how many recipes we gave out but it was a hit.
