2 Cups brown sugar
2/3 cup shortening (butter or margarine)
1 Cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 level Tsps each:
Baking soda
Salt
Vanilla
About 2 Cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & brown sugar together, add eggs, peanut butter, vanilla, then stir in flour, baking soda and salt -stirring well after each addition. Roll dough into walnut size balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a floured fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
