1 cup sugar
1 cup oil (Wesson)
1 cup dark molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients in order given, dissolving soda in hot water. Turn into a greased 13 1/2" x 9" x 2" pan. Bake in moderate (350) oven for 40 minutes.
