1 3/4 C. Boiling water
1 C. uncooked oatmeal
1 C. lightly packed brown sugar
1 C. granulated sugar
1 stick margarine (1/2 Cup)
2 extra large eggs
1 3/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. cocoa
1 package semi-sweet chocolate bits
3/4 C. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let stand at room temp for 10 minutes.

Add Brown and White sugar and margarine. Stir until margarine melts. Add eggs. Mix well. sift flour, soda, salt and cocoa. Add to sugar mixture. Add half of the chocolate chips and pour batter into a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle rest of chips and nuts on top.

Preheat oven to 350 and bake about 40 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean
