1 cup Butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 cups flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and beat well. Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Put 2/3 of the batter into an 12x 18 jelly roll pan. Spread can of pie filling over this. Drop rest of batter by teaspoonful over top. Bake @ 350 for 35 minutes. Frost with powder sugar frosting. Drizzle over top while hot.
