1 C. butter 1 3/4 C. sugar 4 eggs - added one at a time 1 tsp. vanilla 3 C. flour* 2 tsp. baking powder* 1/2 tsp. salt* (*sift these together)
Spoon batter into 12x18 pan, reserving 1 C. Swirl in one can of pie filling (any fruit flavor.) Glob on the 1 C. of remaining batter. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. Drizzle powdered sugar icing over top.
Icing: Add approximately 1-2 tsp. of melted butter to 1 C. sugar; add 1/2 tsp. vanilla.
