1 3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup & 2 Tbsp. sugar (used two places)
1/4 cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
4 cups French Bread cubed 1" pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 1 1/2 Qt. baking dish. Bring cream, 1/2 cup sugar, & milk to simmer, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat & add chocolate chips. Whisk until melted & smooth. In a large bowl, whisk egg & vanilla to blend. Gradually whisk in hot mixture to egg mixture and blend. Cool 10 minutes, stirring often. Add bread cubes & toss to coat. Pour in 1 1/2 Qt. baking dish. Sprinkle w/ the rest of the sugar 2 Tbsp. Bake at 350 degrees until mixture is just set - about 50 minutes. Serve warm w/ Whipped Cream. I like to put this Bread Pudding in stemmed goblets if I'm having lady friends. Looks pretty.
