2 six oz cans minced clams
1 bottle clam juice
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c diced celery
1 can diced potatoes
1/2 c butter
1/4 c plain flour (adjust amt for desired thickness)
1 1/2 c heavy cream
1/2 c milk
3/4 t salt
black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer onions and celery in clam juice covered on medium heat until softened. Add clams and continue simmering. Melt butter in a small pot then add flour. Cook 2 to 3 minutes stirring then add cream and milk. Stir until thick and smooth. Add potatoes to clams then add cream mixture and heat through. Season with salt and pepper.
