2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt 3 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup milk 3 to 6 tbsp shortening
Sift flour with salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. The amount of shortening you will use depends on how short you want your biscuits. Bake at 450'F for 12 to 15 minutes.
