1 quart ripe strawberries or 2 cups crushed strawberries
4 cups sugar
3/4 cup water
1 box powdered fruit pectin

Directions:
Directions:
Place crushed strawberries and sugar into a large bowl. Stir and let stand. Place water and powdered fruit pectin into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil rapidly one minute, stirring constantly. Add to fruit mixture, stirring well. Continue stirring to dissolve sugar, about 3 minutes. Ladle quickly into freezer containers. Cover jam at one with tight lids. Let stand 24 hours, then store in freezer
