3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
2 to 3 mashed ripe bananas
6 T. brown sugar
4 T. half and half
4 T. butter
powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, salt, soda, flour and mashed bananas. Drop well rounded spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Press down with fork. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. For frosting, bring brown sugar, half and half, and butter to a boil. Let cool and add enough powdered sugar to make a loose frosting. Frost cookies and enjoy!
