Vanilla wafers (most of a 12 ounce box
4-5 medium bananas
2 4 serving size packages of instant vanilla pudding
3 cups milk
1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 12-16 ounce carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions:
Directions:
Line the bottom and sides of a 13 by 9 by 2 inch dish with vanilla wafers. Cover completely with sliced bananas, overlapping a bit. Prepare pudding according to package directions using 3 cups milk. Add sweetened condensed milk. Fold in whipped topping. Pour over bananas; chill before serving. Texture is soft.

This is a rich version of an old American favorite banana pudding. Omit the bananas and vanillas wafers and try it with other flavors of pudding, too; chocolate is good; so is coconut cream with added flaked coconut and a dash of almond extract.
