3/4 c. shortening
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
2 c. corn flakes
1 1/2 c. Spanish salted peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 6 ingredients; beat well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in greased pan. Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes until light golden brown. Cut bars while warm.
