1 pounds ground beef
cup quick or regular oatmeal
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
tsp dry mustard
tsp pepper
tsp ground sage
1 clove garlic crushed
Brown sugar

Mix all ingredients. Spread in loaf pan. Cook uncovered in 350 oven about 1 hours. Spread on topping for last 5 minutes. Topping: mix catsup and brown sugar until very very sweet. Do not microwave this. Must be cooked a long time for flavor.
