2-3 cucumbers, peeled & sliced
1 medium-large onion, sliced thin
salt
ice
1/2 c. salad dressing
vinegar (to taste)
milk
sugar, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Place cucumbers and onions in bowl and sprinkle with salt quite liberally. Place ice cubes over the mixture and let it sit for several hours. For sauce, mix salad dressing with a little milk to thin it. Add vinegar and sugar, to taste, as desired. Drain cucumbers and onions well and put them in the sauce or vinegar and oil.
