2 cups blanched bits almonds
1 cup butter (not margarine)
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 tbsp light corn syrup
3 tbsp water
9 ounces milk chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Toast in the oven at 325, 2 cups of blanched almond bits. Melt butter in large sauce pan. Add sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to hard crack (300). Stir occasionally. Add 1 cup toasted almond bits. Spread in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Cool. Melt chocolate. Turn candy out onto waxed paper. Spread with half of chocolate and spring with1/2 cup almonds. Cool and invert candy. Spread with remaining chocolate and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Chill. Break candy in pieces.
