lb. (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 c. vodka (use the good stuff, please!)
1 c. canned tomato sauce
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. parmesan cheese
1 lb. penne pasta

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the pepper flakes and heat thoroughly. Next, add the vodka. Bring everything to a rolling boil to cook off the alcohol (about 5 minutes). Then add the tomato sauce, heat thoroughly. Then add the cream, heat thoroughly. Last, whisk in the parmesan cheese so all the sauce ingredients are well incorporated.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta. When ready, combine the pasta together with the sauce. Serve immediately with extra cheese on the side.
