2 packages of lima beans 1/2 cup butter (butter buds ok to use) 2 - 5 oz cans of mushrooms, sliced 4 T. flour 2 cups milk 1/2 cup shredder sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 t. salt 1/8 t. pepper 1/4 t. chili powder
1- Cook lima beans according to package directions and drain well. 2- Saute mushrooms in sauce pan in the butter about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool. 3- Add flour and blend. Heat until bubbly on low heat. 4- Add milk, stir and blend with flour. 5- Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then add cheese and seasonings. Combine sauce and beans. Serve hot.
