1 cup vegetable shortening
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
2 eggs
2 t. almond extract
1/3 cup lemon-flavor yogurt
3 1/2 cups unsifted flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
3 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup grape nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut

Directions:
Directions:
1- In a large mixing bowl, beat shortening, brown sugar, honey and eggs until creamy. Add almond extract and yogurt. Mix well.
2- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and mix well. Add to above mixture on medium speed, blend well. Add corn flakes ( any combination of dry cereal can be used) peanuts, wheat germ, grape nuts and coconut. Blend well.
3- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonsful onto a greased cookie sheet. Flatten dough with a fork dipped in sugar.
4- Bake in a preheated oven 375 F for 8 to 10 minutes until cookies are golden brown. Cool on rack.
