1/2 cup butter - softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 (1oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled (melt in microwave)
2 eggs
1 (4oz.) carton frozen whipped topping- thawed
1 baked 9 inch pastry shell
Whipped cream and shaved chocolate - optional

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Stir in cooled melted chocolate. Add one egg at a time,beating 5 minutes after each additional egg.
3. Fold in whipping topping. Spoon filling into baked pastry shell. Chill until firm. ( about 1-2 hours). If desired, garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate before serving.
