1 small can evaporated milk (2/3 cup divided)
1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 cup melted margarine
1 bag (40 - 50) caramels
1 cup nuts (chopped)
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 9x13 pan.
Preheat oven to 350.
Put 1/3 cup evaporated milk and caramels in microwave until caramels melt. Set aside.
Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 3/4 cup melted margarine. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
Put 1/2 dough in pan. Bake for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and put caramel mix on top. Drop remainder of dough on top by spoonfuls (here and there). Put back in oven and bake 15 - 18 minutes until set. Shake pan - center should not move. Let cool. Cut into bars.
