Ingredients:
2 cubes butter
1 cup white sugar
3 T. water
2 cups finely chopped almonds (divided into two parts of 1 cup each)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x9 or 9x7 pan, and evenly sprinkle approximately 1 cup finely chopped almonds on the bottom. Bring butter, sugar, and water to a boil, then turn down heat to medium (still a rolling boil). Boil and stir till it turns toffee-colored. Be careful not to cook TOO long. It should just begin turning light brown. Pour the toffee mixture over the nuts. Melt 6 oz. chocolate chips, and pour evenly over the toffee. Sprinkle 1 cup of finely chopped almonds over the chocolate. Chill until the chocolate is hardened. Remove from pan and break into pieces.
