Chili Pot Pie Recipe

1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worchestershire Sauce
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, cut in strips
3 T. oil
1 tsp. chili powder
1 lb. whole kernel corn
1 lb. kidney beans
2 lbs. tomatoes
1/4 c. olives, sliced and pitted

Combine beef, salt, pepper and Worchestershire Sauce. Mix well. Shape into balls. Cook onion and green pepper in oil until tender. Remove from pan. Brown meatballs in oil remaining in pan. Remove to 2 quart baking dish. Stir chili powder into small amount of meat drippings. Add corn, kidney beans, tomatoes and ripe olives. Mix well. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in onion and green pepper. Pour over meatballs. Prepare the Corn Meal Biscuit Topping found in the Miscellaneous section of this cookbook. Arrange on top of baking dish. Bake at 425 for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are done. This will run over some 2 quart casserole dishes, so you may want to place foil underneath.
