4 c. flour
2 T. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. nutmeg ( freshly grated if you have it)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients until well blended.

Add 1 qt. buttermilk, 4 eggs, 4 T. melted butter or oil, 2 tsp. vanilla.

Mix liquid ingredients together and add to the dry mix, stirring until completely incorporated. Cook on griddle.
