quart jar 1/3 cup beef soup base 1/4 cup onion flakes 1/3 cup split peas 1/3 cup barley 1/2 cup lentils 1/2 bag pasta (8-oz)
Put ingredients in a quart jar. Make a label that says: Brown one pound ground beef in a kettle and drain grease. Remove pasta from top and reserve. Add the rest of the ingredients to the kettle with 10 cups of water. Bring to a boil, simmer slowly until peas and lentils are tender, adding the pasta the last 15 minutes. Enjoy.
